A family-run café set inside a converted 19th-century mill, serving fresh bakes and proper coffee right beside the river that once turned the wheel.
The Mill House has stood beside the river since 1860. What was once a working flour mill is now home to our café — same stone walls, same water running past the window, just better coffee than the millers ever had.
Everything is made fresh each morning, from the bread to the scones, using local suppliers wherever we can.
Simple, seasonal, and made fresh every day.
Locally roasted beans, brewed to order — flat whites, pour-overs, and everything in between.
Brewed freshBread, scones, and pastries made on-site each morning. Nothing frozen, nothing from a packet.
Baked on-siteTables right along the old mill stream — weather permitting, of course.
Weather permittingBest scone I've had in Limerick, and the seating by the water is unreal on a sunny day.
Lovely little spot, friendly staff, and the coffee is properly good. Go-to place when I'm in the area.
